RJC MISSION STATEMENT
& BASIC PRINCIPLES
We seek to foster and enhance ties between the American Jewish community and Republican decision makers. We work to sensitize Republican leadership in government and the party to the concerns and issues of the Jewish community, while articulating and advocating Republican ideas and policies within the Jewish community. We are committed to building a strong, effective and respected Jewish Republican voice in Washington and across the country.
The RJC’s basic principles are:
1. National security as government’s first responsibility;
2. Small government;
3. An economic policy that espouses low taxes, free enterprise, and the economic system that has proven over time to make America the most powerful, richest, and freest nation ever in the history of the world.
The RJC is offering a grant to current college students who have shown strong support for both Republican and Jewish causes on and off campus. Acceptance priority is given to freshmen, sophomores, and juniors, and those who have not attended in previous years.
Grant recipients need only be responsible for their travel and lodging. Meals and registration are included.
Details for the meeting are available here: https://rjcvegasmeeting.com/
If accepted, grant applicants are expected to attend all events at the Leadership Meeting. In addition, each grantee will be required to organize phone-banking sessions on his or her campus using the RJC’s calling from home program.
In total, each grantee will be responsible for 30 hours of phone banking sessions during the 2020 election cycle in support of GOP candidates. The RJC will be responsible for training each applicant on the calling from home system and providing them with the necessary materials.
Finalists will be interviewed over the phone by RJC staff. We will notify you of your interview date and time following the submission and review of your application.
