RJC California – Be a Member
Hello, My name is Alex Siegel and I am the Deputy Executive Director of the Republican Jewish Coalition as well as the Director of the RJC California region, based out of Los Angeles. Helping me run the California region are Doris Ohayon (Program Director) and Jacob Ellenhorn (Membership Coordinator). Our California team works to provide the state’s Jewish communities with a bridge to the world of Republican politics, policy making, and pro-Israel advocacy.
Our programming is always informative and engaging, featuring a balance of national politics, foreign affairs, local and statewide issues. In 2018 our events featured a variety of speakers including: former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon, GOP pollster and messaging guru Frank Luntz, 2018 CA gubernatorial candidate John Cox, and RNC Committeeman Shawn Steel.
In addition to our amazing meetings, we also host the RJC’s annual California Bash, a gala dinner featuring a star-studded program of Republican thought leaders and politicians. In 2018 our dinner featured Kimberly Guilfoyle, Pastor John Hagee, Charlie Kirk, and Donald Trump Jr.
The California office also plays an instrumental role in helping Republicans across the country get elected to federal office. We did this in 2018 by mobilizing our cutting edge RJC PAC website, which allowed donors to make contributions to races across the state and the country on a single platform. These funds helped pave the way for an even larger Republican majority in the Senate.
Joining the RJC means joining a community of like-minded Jews, all of whom are dedicated to strengthening the bond between the GOP and the wider Jewish community. We would love to see you at one of our events in 2019 and hope you join our organization!
