Recovering Jewish Democrats

Jill Weinstein, Cantor Sagee Goldenholz, Jean Walles, and Steve “Bubba” Cohen were life-long Jewish Democrats until President Trump and the RJC came along to show them that there was a better choice. After years of becoming more and more disturbed by the anti-Israel and anti-Semitic voices of the left, and witnessing a Democratic leadership that, at best, refused to stand up to it, they saw a Republican Party that cares deeply for the American Jewish community and our closest of allies, Israel.

President Trump, the most pro-Israel President ever, has demonstrated a deep commitment to our people and the issues we care deeply about. He has shown the foresight and courage to eschew the foreign policy naysayers. They said, you can’t recognize Jerusalem as the eternal, undivided capital of Israel. They said, moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem will be dangerous and alienate our Arab allies. And they said, war will break out if you recognize Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights. They were wrong. President Trump proved it, and in so doing, he made Israel more secure while maintaining strong relationships with our Arab allies.

Our party and our President are pro-Jewish and pro-Israel, which is something Democrats can’t fully claim anymore. That is why the RJC and the Jewish community are going to help deliver victory for President Trump, to grow our majority in the Senate, and to win back the House in 2020!
