Highlights from the 2018 Fall Leadership Meeting
On October 10, the RJC Fall Leadership Meeting was held in Washington, D.C. The RJC was proud to hear from a stellar group of Republican leaders, including:
- RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, on how the GOP is preparing to win in 2018 and 2020;
- Ryan Zinke, US Secretary of the Interior, on President Trump’s agenda;
- Senator Tom Cotton (AK), for a view from Capitol Hill;
- Senator Lindsey Graham (SC), on “standing up and speaking out”;
- Congressman Ed Royce (CA-39), chairman of the House Foreign Relations Committee;
- Chris Hansen (National Republican Senatorial Committee) and John Rogers (National Republican Congressional Committee), for an overview of the 2018 midterm election;
- Lena Epstein, Jewish Republican candidate for Congress (MI-11);
- and special guest IDF Maj. (Res.) Sarit Zehavi, on the security challenges Israel faces on its northern border.
The leadership meeting was preceded by a meeting of the RJC Board of Directors, where Senior Advisor to the President Jared Kushner spoke, and a VIP reception featuring Sen. Ted Cruz (TX).
